July 14th 2006 First I'd like to share with you why I'm writing on this subject. I tuned in and asked for guidance about what to write about that would be meaningful and wouldn't waste your time. I looked at what the planets were telling me (I am an astrologer after all!) Then I drew a card from the Psychology of Vision card deck. (There are over 2,000 cards) So the focus for this newsletter is 'The Power Conspiracy'. A conspiracy is a pattern in the mind that is deeply hidden but has a huge effect on our lives. We keep repeating it because it's so well buried. Conspiracies can be terribly painful and even life threatening. They distract and delay you. They are unconscious traps that hide soul level gifts, your power and meaning, and keep you in self-torture. Conspiracies are set up to have no solution, but just recognising when your ego has entrenched itself in one is the beginning of breaking free. A Conspiracy is a trap set up by the ego that seems impossible to get out of. Once you set out on the path of your purpose the ego will bring out its best weapons. For those of you who've seen the movie 'Gremlins' I imagine the ego as one of those little monsters, forever mutating and breeding if you feed them after midnight! One of the ways to heal a conspiracy is to uncover it. Conspiracies depend on denial and lack of awareness for their existence. Just think of all the plots you know about in history. The first level of the Power Conspiracy is basically the obsession for - or against - power. It's a belief that power or gaining power will save us. It's an attempt to dominate others to get our way. Alternatively it's a shrinking from all forms of power, a fear of power and a fear of our own natural authority and greatness. We're all afraid of our power, our giftedness and the power of our own minds. So we create stories in our lives that keeps us small. We have a whole array of excuses why we can't live our purpose. What are your stories? Do you believe you aren't ready, not qualified enough, not rich enough, not charismatic enough to live your purpose? Have you been belittled in your life? Not endorsed by someone who's opinion really mattered? Are you still seeking approval? Are you still looking for that certificate, that magic piece of paper that says 'I am good enough'. Our conspiracies are excuses not to be ourselves. They are a way of hiding and running away from our greatness. We also might have a fear of being great and therefore see people around us who are powerful and start abusing their position. The newspapers are full of such stories. The Power Conspiracy points to an abuse of power in the past and our indulgences from when we've been in positions of power. We are mistaken about what power really is, thinking it places us over others rather than equal and connected with others. So would you like to heal this? It's what is holding you back from having what you want. From being happy. From living your purpose right now. • The first way to heal it is to be aware of it and ask for help. That's help from your Higher Mind. Once you bring awareness, choice and grace into a problem situation, whatever is needed to heal it – even miracles – will be manifested. State out loud " I commit to finding and healing this power conspiracy I have. I ask for a miracle in this regard." If you're in a fight with anyone the way though is trust. Place your trust in the person, trust the situation to work out for the highest good of all involved. Be certain that this miracle will take place. Remain willing and open to healing it. The next step is to reclaim your buried power and your soul level gifts. There's a time and a place where you abused power and vowed never to have power again. You left your centre because of the pain and threw away a soul level gift that is part of your purpose. • Meditate on the story from the past. Recognise how great your purpose must be that you set up such a great defence to hide it. Make the choice for your purpose, letting go of any conspiracies of which you are aware. • Examine this power conspiracy. What is the major gift or potential that it hides? When you find what it is, (look for hints throughout your day), embrace it. • Commit to your gift, and put the conspiracy in the hands of the gods. Choose your destiny!
