When Oracles Speak:Opening Yourself to Messages Found in Dreams, Signs and the Voices of Nature by Dianne Skafte.
Ancient peoples were able to interpret the messages that they received from the voices of the birds, the whisper of the leaves, dreams and the sacred art of divination. In modern times we might see a bird or an animal, or hear someone else’s conversations and know that it contains a message for us. This book describes these modern oracles and describes practical guidance on attuning ourselves to their wisdom.

The War of Art: Winning the Inner Creative Battle by Steven Pressfield For everyone who is pursuing their purpose you need to know and understand about resistance. Easy to pick up and open a page for some pithy advise, this book is invaluable. An excerpt:

Like a magnetised needle floating on the surface of oil, Resistance will unfailingly point to true North-meaning that calling or action it most wants to stop us from doing.
Rule of thumb: the more important a call or action is to our soul’s evolution, the more Resistance we feel toward pursuing it.

Busting Loose From the Money Game:Mind-Blowing Strategies for Changing the Rules of a Game You Can’t Win by Robert Scheinfeld

” All your life, without realizing it, you′ve been playing The Money Game . . . and losing. Now, finally, you can win.

Are you in debt, struggling to make ends meet or fed up with not having enough money? Are you doing okay financially but want to do much better? Do you feel trapped, restricted, or confined by what it takes to sustain your success?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you′ve been playing The Money Game. You were taught certain rules and regulations, and you′ve been following them faithfully, never once questioning their validity or looking for alternatives. You can become better and better at playing the game. You can pile up more and more winnings—but you can′t win. Why? Because The Money Game was designed to be unwinable.

The only way to win The Money Game is to bust loose from it altogether, discard the rules and regulations you thought you had to play by, and start playing a new game with a new set of rules that work for you.

Sound unbelievable? It′s actually very real and absolutely doable—when you have the guidance this book will give you. No matter what you think you know about money, wealth, prosperity, and abundance, or how many books and tapes you′ve bought or seminars you′ve attended on the subject, Busting Loose from The Money Game will open a portal to a new relationship with money and a radically different way of living.”

Spiritual

‘Seat of the Soul’ by Gary Zukav. Science meets spirituality. A classic with chapters on Creation, Trust, Power.

A Course in Miracles: Combined Volume. This book is the source text of many spiritual teachers and I highly recommend that you buy it. It’s a book that you can open at any page to offer you great wisdom. However it is not an easy book to read as it challenges many of  your perceptions!

I recommend you also buy A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of “A Course in Miracles” by Marianne Williamson.  I love this author. She always inspires me and I urge you to read her. Clients are bowled over by this book.

Marianne was the spiritual advisor to President Bill Clinton. You might have come across this famous quote written by her. (It was wrongly attributed as spoken by Nelson Mandela at his inauguration):-

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

The Disappearance of the Universe: Straight Talk About Illusions, Past Lives, Religion, Sex, Politics, and the Miracles of Forgiveness by Gary Renard. This is a fascinating book with an intriguing story that you don’t have to believe in to enjoy its message. Its A Course in Miracles told via an amusing story.
